Using Google Drive to store and synchronize your files between devices is generally a good idea (if you encrypt your personal data that is). The problem lies in using Google’s desktop client, both on Mac and Windows, because it includes a “Visit Google Drive on the web” link automatically logging you into your Google Account. Note: Even 2-Step Authentication won’t prevent this. From there it is easy to switch to other services… Ups!
My advice, setup a separate Google account only for use with Google Drive, with its own UNIQUE password and everything, keeping Google Plus, gmail, voice and all the other services safely protect if someone were to gain access to your computer!
